Here's something I'm developing for this week's Illustration Friday topic entitled "Return".
Its much more of a painterly approach than what I normally do.
I've been playing around with work like this for a while and it has always been hit or miss.
Sometimes the stars align and other times the piece ends up a muddied, overworked mess.
It's a balance I'm still struggling to find but I think this one i at least worthy of showing off.
