Website Revamp

If you have visited my website within the last few days you will notice it's gone through a number of changes. I had been wanting to do a few touch ups but it was another artist's blog post about her own website that kinda lit the fire under me to get things rolling. I after a few tries I updated the global design to give the website a more open feel and to minimize the size of the masthead to maximize the canvas of the content area. Additionally I turned off the sidebar on the portfolio page which will allow me to make the images in my portfolio a little larger to take full advantage of the additional space.

Working on the site's redesign was not an easy process. I played around with the design and updated the masthead for the global design three times in a single day before I was satisfied with it. Each time I would get a better idea shortly after uploading the "new" version and even then I had an inkling that I wanted to try something even bolder. Which brings us to what we have now. The forth design variation in two days. I'm really excited about how it turned out and I hope you like it as well.

Now back to the drawing board!
